Metal-Plate S-92

Alkaline EN Strike Process for use on Aluminum and Zinc Die Cast.

The Metal-Plate 92 electroless nickel system is specifically formulated to deposit a thin, uniform nickel/phosphorus coating onto zincated aluminum substrates and zinc die cast prior to plating in a conventional acid electroless nickel bath.

The use of this process on aluminum alloys allows the EN plater to utilize the full use of an acid electroless nickel bath without the worry of blistering or poor adhesion as the bath ages.

The Metal-Plate S-92 process has high tolerance for zinc contamination. Metal-Plate S-92 process is extremely economical due to the thinness of the layers obtained.

The main features of the process like as Maximum Bath stability, High tolerance to contaminations, Easy to operate, Operate the bath at room temperature and long bath life.

Metal Plate MP 9

Process overview

There are various processes that are followed in the surface coating and processing industry.

Zinc & Zinc Alloy plating process

Zinc & Zinc Alloy plating is usually used to protect metals such as iron and steel against the persistent forces of corrosion. The Zinc & Zinc Alloy coating creates a physical barrier that prevents rust from reaching the underlying metal surface.

Trivalent (Cr3) Passivation

Trivalent Chrome (Cr+3) passivation is a metal finishing process that can be applied on Zinc and Zinc Alloy Electroplating to enhance corrosion resistance. This method of metal finishing is the perfect alternative to hexavalent passivation on zinc-plated parts, as it is Non-toxic to the environment, while also achieving excellent corrosion resistance.

Electroless Nickel

Complex configurations chemistry, the versatility of our coatings has demonstrated their exceptional capabilities to meet challenging application demands. Our Metal-Plate and Meta- Plate ELV products meet many specifications of Automobile and other industries for Electroless Nickel plating.

Alkaline Copper

The Cyanide free Alkaline copper plating is used as an under layer for both defense mechanism against atmospheric corrosion and to improve the adhesion and the protective value of a subsequently applied Acid copper or nickel plating.

Acid Copper

Acid copper baths are simple formulations with three additives of Cuprous 60 / Cuprous 40 and Cuprous 100 along with copper sulphate (source of cu) and Sulphuric Acid, suitable to the underlayer for nickel plating in ABS & Ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Used in Automobile and decorative Industry.
